Aulax Distributors has been supplying packaging for Class 6.2 - Dangerous Goods (Infectious Substances) since 2001. We were approached by DSP Global/Covance at that stage to develop local versions of their Swiss-made packaging products, in order to save the exorbitant costs of shipping "empty" packaging from Geneva to Cape Town. Over the next few years we introduced several more products, and slowly gained new customers. We are the only local company making a comprehensive range of these products - there are a few companies making limited types of similar packagings, but our main competition is overseas based.

We pride ourselves on being a South African company - approximately 95% of components are sourced locally in the Western Cape, with a few items not locally available coming from elsewhere. Our customers are mainly SA based, but we supply to most of the SADC countries on a regular basis, as well as further afield.
